I had a kitchen faucet that was leaking and uses a nonstandard gasket so I had to replace it. This one was well reviewed and looked good to me.It was for the most part easy to install except the fitting to the pull down spout kept leaking. I screwed in the black hose into the middle copper line but it was leaking a fair amount so I tightened it and is was leaking less. I tried tightening more but the copper pipe started twisting and the connection was still leaking.I then unscrewed it an put Teflon tape around it and reinstalled it. It was still leaking and I had it as tight as I could. I went down to the hardware store and bought some waterproof tape that is made to stop leaking pipes and wrapped it tightly around the joint where the black hose screws into the middle copper pipe. It seems to have stopped the leaking so far.Other than that little problem it is working well. Now just to wait for the hardware store to get another faucet hole cover in as they only had one when I went to get the waterproof tape.The faucet has a good look and feel to it, and feels solidly constructed. Which is nice, considering the price. Yes, some parts are painted plastic, and I haven't owned it long enough to chip, but I didn't pay $200, either.I installed it to an outdoor sink, with no incoming hot water line, so I can't judge the temperature control, but installation was very easy, and the retaining nut underneath was actually my favorite part. Due to its design, a basin wrench was not required. Protrusions allow for sufficient hand tightening, and phillips-head screws ensure that the nut will not slip with use.Being an outdoor sink, I had more maneuverability during installation, but even with fairly tight quarters, the included water lines and sprayer line should screw in easily, and mine tightened down nicely with an open-end wrench of the appropriate size, no leaking, no teflon tape required.I would recommend a second person to hold the faucet in the desired position while tightening the retention nut, there is no way to do that by yourself, and the faucet is a little top-heavy (necessarily), so will not stay in place while you're working on it.My only con is the hot and cold is reverse of my old faucet but I will get used to that. It looks good, works as expected, and most importantly, the installation was easy.I love this faucet as it is a good buy, easy to install and is worth the money. Also gives the kitchen an elegant look and feeldisproves of the saying that you get what you pay for. Decent quality at a rock-bottom priceHave had for over2 yearsand no problems very sturdy no cheap plastic if you are hesitant don't be this is a quality product better than Lowe's or home Depot at a 3rd of price.this unit is used alot in a day with a large family and I am very impressed not 1 issue since I purchased.moen move over?Installed and simple to operate, but the switch on the nozzle from stream to spray snapped and only streams, I would like to just replace the nozzle but no way to contact the seller.Overall we love the faucet. The look goes so well with our decor. Only complaint is the directions are very vague. There were other reviews about how easy it was to install but we had a few difficulties. Also I don’t really care for the small piece above the head being in silver when the rest of the faucet is in bronze.Only had it for a week. So far so good. Seems to be of high quality. Will recommend it to others if it lasts long enough.
