I love this faucet. I love that it’s touch-less. I love that it is a pull out and has the power of full water pressure behind it. Plus there are two strengths of spray. One like a normal sink sprayer and the second it’s like a turbo charged sprayer on steroids. It’s incredible. The faucet is stylish and beautiful. It has a feel of weight to it that screams quality. You will want a deep sink with this to contain the splash from the powerful sprayer. I’m so glad I bought it and I lwould do so again.(MAYBE) FINAL UPDATE: I guess I have offended the seller, because he petulantly refuses to instruct me on how to disable the sensor. I sent him texts and photos. I realise my reviews made him angry, but he only needs to help me fix the problem and I would quit complaining.UPDATE AGAIN: I am writing this January 3, 2022. Just replaced the AAA batteries on the small sink which I use less than once a day for the second time since April. Replaced the AAA batteries on the main sink today, now at least 5 times in less than 8 months. I don't expect the seller to provide any help, so I will search for instructions on how to disable the sensor and make them both manual. The sensors become less useful as the battery weakens. I need to make sure I use the right tool and don't break any of the cheap plastic parts. .***UPDATE*** The sensor malfunction has recurred 10 days after I replaced the batteries with fresh ones, different brand, new package. The problem was not bad batteries, but the unit itself is defective in some way. Will not work manually either. I have sent Amazon order number and a video to the seller. Will update again rate based on support of defective product.I purchased two of these, as I have a large work sink and a small bar sink by the dining area. I had to hire a plumber to install, so I was crossing my fingers that everything would be okay. I didn't want to have to have him come back to remove it, then come back again to install a replacement. Unless you have tools and can physically handle crawling in a kitchen cabinet, I would advise hesitation about ordering a product like this from Amazon. However, there has been a run on kitchen upgrades in my area and the usual big box store could not get this in stock or delivered in a timely manner, and Amazon came through, as usual. The one in the big sink with the sensor on the front is a bit of a pain. The sensor should be higher up, not so close to the bottom, almost sitting atop the sink ledge. I consider this a design flaw. In any event, the 2AAA batteries (or at least one of them) failed within 10 days. I didn't suspect this as all four (two identical faucets) were from a new package of 16 Duracells. I had used several of the others with no problem. The sensor at first would turn the water on for a split second and then off. Shortly, the manual handle would not turn on the flow either. I tried to contact the manufacturer, who is quite slow. E-mail is the only means of communication with them. They do not have phone support. A kitchen faucet is essential, so the delay in response was pretty bad. Fortunately, I have the small bar sink, but many people don't have that and being without running water in the kitchen is problematic. I finally heard from Aapaso, with a rather snippy response...From Seller: "I'm happy to assist you.Can you send your order number? Also help us take a video about faucet failure? We can determine the problem and assist you based on the information you provide.Or you can change 2 AA batteries.Best RegardsAPPASO CS Team"I was able to replace the batteries with some difficulty. (BY the way, they are AAA batteries, not AA.)The device is difficult to reach and not obvious as to where the battery tray is or how to release it. It looks like a solid black box. Overall this is a good faucet for the money. I've only had them installed about 3 weeks. I hope the battery itself was defective, and there's not something in the electronics that drains batteries, because I really don't want to have to send this thing back, I hired a plumber to do the install, and will have to schedule him again to remove and replace.2nd Update: After much back and forth with seller, who claimed I was using it wrong, then finally that my sensor must be defective so he sent me a new one. I scheduled my plumber - all this took a couple of weeks. Joe the Plumber takes it and says, "The inlet valve is broken!" I look in the box and there is the broken piece that screws into the sink connector. It is made of plastic. There were two choices. Put in yet another fresh set of batteries, or turn the sensor entirely off. This is designed so you cannot mechanically turn on the water if the sensor is activated. There is another plastic piece that one much crawl into the cabinet with a flashlight to find and have the right tool so that one can have running water. These are now my choices: 1)Return to the company for a replacement of the exact same faulty design (their other faucets, according to the installation manual) require 4 AA batteries, which would last longer than 10 days, I assume. 2.) Continue to replace batteries often. 3.) Disable the sensor to be able to use the faucet handle. 3.) Purchase a different brand, have plumber remove Appasso, install new one. Get a shipping label from Appasso, pack up faucets and carry to UPS, pay to ship - no doubt. They have a 90-day return and dragged out the sensor issue about half that. They sell manual (i.e., no sensor) versions for about half the price of the one with sensor. Choosing this particular model out of all those available for sale was a stroke of very bad luck. I liked the looks of it, and it is attractive, but there are many others with similar design. I did read the reviews, but at the time they all were written when the purchaser hadn't used it enough to test the longevity of 2 AAA batteries on a sensor that is used many, many times every day. All of these are designed so that the sensor will not work unless the faucet is open. Whether that drains battery, I don't know. It shouldn't. Again, poor design. Others who have faucets with sensors (and 4 AA batteries) have told me their batteries began to fail at about 1.5 years.Very nice faucet and 3 different sprays...We wanted to change out our kitchen faucet and decided to go ahead with this APPASO due to the cost. By the time all the renovations are complete, we will re-evaluate the faucet. It looks fine. It works fine. We had trouble with the hot water, but some juggling fixed that.I bought this as a wedding gift and it did not DISAPPOINT!! They were so happy to have this and post on their social media about how wonderful it is. Truly makes me happy.Ok yes this was difficult to install and the motion detection sucked but I just used it as a regular faucet. Also it was missing the shutoff valve for the motion detection but that was trial and error and a small pair of pliers to resolve that.About a year in the sprayer went out but customer service was awesome and got me fixed up with a new one ASAP!Worked for 12months and started causing issues. Motion light blinks but does not turn water on. Only works when it wants, most often not. Emailed customer support and got no answerTried new batteries and checked connections.Hands free operation is great for hands covered in butt rub for meat ready to go on the smokerThis Appaso Faucet is very well made. High quality parts and great style. Having installed several faucets over the years, this was by far the easiest. Appaso had all the parts needed (only thing I provided was 3 screws to attach power unit to wall. Makes sense since every install is different.) Quality compression fittings on connectors did not require any teflon tape or joint compound. Connectors to power unit are slip fit and no mistake can be made as to what goes where. Finish is very nice and looks great. Faucet is easy to operate and works beautifully. Love the touchless feature. Highly recommend this Appaso Faucet for its quality and ease of install. It has been a year of me using this faucet now. At the beginning I thought it was a great idea to have motion sensor but as I've been using this for a while now, the motion sensor is too sensitive. When I wash large bowls/plates, it senses the motion and turns off the water.I think if the sensor was either higher up, or to the side, it would mitigate these issues. Overall quality is great. Still working after 1 year and no issues. Only changed the batteries twice.I just wish the motion sensor was located in a different place.I had a plumber install this for me and wasn’t watching when he put the batteries in. When the batteries finally died it was a challenge to change them. My instruction book said 4 double A batteries. I had to take every single thing out of the cupboard below the sink to get at the little box which was installed in a very awkward spot. I needed a flashlight. I finally figured out how to get the old batteries out and no, it wasn’t 4 double A’s like the book said….it was 2 triple A’s. Now that I’ve done it once it will be easy next time! The batteries lasted a good 6 months. Other then that I’m very happy with the faucet.Delivery was prompt. Faucet looks nice. Installation wasn't a problem. After four months it quit working. Waving in front of the sensor caused the water to come on for half a second and then stop. Manual override doesn't work. I replaced the batteries with new alkaline ones. No different. Two weeks later, still waiting for a solution from manufacturer. I suspect I'll have to buy another one from a different manufacturer.
